Los simpatizantes de fútbol cantan para arengar a su equipo, pero también para expresar una identidad al exponer en el discurso las creencias grupales relevantes del grupo y los criterios mediante los cuales puede definirse quién es y quién no es parte del colectivo. Dividiré este artículo en tres grandes secciones. En la primera daré una descripción del marco teórico propuesto por Teun Van Dijk para el estudio de las ideologías. En la segunda parte explicaré por qué considero que el hinchismo constituye una ideología radical centrada en las áreas ideológicas de la pertenencia, los valores y las relaciones grupales. Expondré los resultados del análisis de contenido y del análisis discursivo de 178 cantos del grupo de simpatizantes de San Lorenzo. Finalmente, en la última parte expondré las conclusiones del trabajo.
Football supporters sing to rouse their team, but also to express an identity, when they expose in their discourse their group beliefs and the criteria by which they define who is part of the group and who is not. I will divide this article in three large sections. In the first, I will give a description of the theoretical framework proposed by Teun Van Dijk for the study of ideologies. In the second part I will explain why I consider hinchismo as a radical ideology, centered in ideological areas of membership, values and group relationships. I will present the results of content and discourse analysis of 178 chants by San Lorenzo’s supporters. Finally, I will discuss the conclusions.
