L'article busca contribuir al coneixement de l'independentisme contemporani des de l'estudi antropològic de la relació entre imaginació i política. S'argumenta que aquest abordatge permet descentrar el nacionalisme com a marc interpretatiu i incorporar l'estudi de la producció social de totalitats socials rellevants per als actors que, en aquest cas, interpel· len el guió entre Estat i nació. A través d'un enfocament i una metodologia de tipus etnogràfic, desenvolupa el cas del moviment Gure Esku Dago, sorgit al País Basc el 2013 amb la consigna d'instal·lar el dret a decidir. The article seeks to contribute to the knowledge of contemporary independentism through the anthropological study of the relationship between imagination and politics. It argues this approach allows decentralizing nationalism as an interpretive framework, thus to incorporate the social production of social totalities relevant to actors themselves who, in this case, challenge the hyphen between the State and the Nation. Through an ethnographic approach, it develops the case of the Gure Esku Dago, a movement that emerged in the Basque Country in 2013 under the motto of fostering the right to decide.
