Reestructuración productiva y características del empleo en el sector agroalimentario argentino

Partiendo del rol central que tiene el sector agroalimentario en la economía argentina y la reestructuración que acaeció desde la década de los ’90, el objetivo general de este artículo es analizar la relación entre las características y las formas de organización de las empresas del sector agroalimentario, y las particularidades del empleo en términos de composición y requerimientos laborales. Los objetivos específicos son 1) establecer las características de la estructura empresarial y productiva del sector agroalimentario, a partir de un conjunto de variables socioproductivas y 2) identificar los vínculos entre diferentes tipos de empresas y de requerimientos laborales. Si bien se enfoca en lo que sucede en el sector agroalimentario (etapa secundaria), también se realizarán comparaciones entre esta rama y el conjunto del sector industrial manufacturero. El diseño de investigación se basa en una estrategia metodológica de análisis de datos cuantitativos y el uso, principalmente, de una fuente de datos secundarias: ENDEI II 2014-2016.
Based on the central role that the agri-food sector has in the Argentine economy and the restructuring process occurred since the 1990s, the general objective of this article is to analyze the relationship between characteristics and forms of fi rm organization in the agrifood sector, and the employment particularities in terms of composition and labor requirements. The specifi c objectives are: ◊ to establish the characterisics of the business and productive structure of the agrifood sector, based on a set of socio-productive variables; ◊ to identify the links between diffferent types of companies and labor requirements. Although it focuses on agri-food sector (secondary stage), comparisons will also be made between this economic activity and the manufacturing industrial sector as a whole. The research design is based on a methodological strategy of quantitative data analysis and the use, mainly, of a secondary data source: ENDEI II 2014-2016.
