La Argentina Rural en clave regional entre la agroindustria y la explotación forestal (1880-1960)

Este estudio histórico propone una doble comparación de la Argentina rural. Primero, caracterizar las regiones agroindustriales del Noroeste argentino (NOA) dedicada al monocultivo azucarero y de Cuyo en tanto centro vitivinícola, con la economía regional del Gran Chaco Argentino en el Nordeste (NEA) del país dedicada a la explotación forestal y el cultivo algodonero. También pretende proyectar la comparación al interior del Norte argentino, para distinguir el NOA del NEA y las causas de sus similitudes, diferencias y complejidades. El recorrido propuesto se extiende entre 1880 cuando se conforma el Estado nacional, pasando por el intervencionismo estatal de los años 30, hasta finalizar las acciones del Estado Benefactor y popular identificado con el peronismo, incluyendo el desempeño de quienes son protagonistas en ese trayecto; es decir, de los diversos sectores del poder económico rural entre sí (burguesía provinciales y capital externo) y entre ellos y el poder político.
This historical research proposes a double comparison of the rural Argentina. First, characterizing the agroindustrial regions of the Argentine Northwest devoted to the monoculture sugar sector and the area of Cuyo main wine sector together with the regional economy of Argentine Gran Chaco in the Northeast of the country devoted to forestry exploitation and cotton crops. It also aims at projecting the comparison to the inland of Argentine North to distinguish the Argentine Northwest from Argentine Northeast and the causes of their similarities, differences and complexities. The proposed path goes between 1880 when the National State was constituted, going through the State interventionism of the 1930s till the end of the benefactor and popular State’s actions identifed with the Peronism. That included the development of the ones who were protagonists during that path, i.e. of the various sectors of the rural economic power with each other (provincial bourgeoises and external capital) and among them and the political power.
