Positive T-periodic solutions of a generalized Nicholson's blowflies model with a nonlinear harvesting term with delay

- In the article of L. Berezansky raises the following open problem: give sufficient conditions for the existence of a T-periodic positive solution for the Generalized Nicholson Model with a nonlinear Harvesting term. Recently, F. Long, solved a special case of the problem with a linear harvesting term with a delay that depends on the estimated population. In this paper we extend this result giving sufficient conditions for the existence of a T-positive periodic solution for a generalized model of Nicholson type with m delays and a nonlinear harvesting term depending on one of those delays.
