Bienestar subjetivo en personas argentinas que realizaron el servicio militar en Israel

La escala de satisfacción con la vida es un instrumento que sirve para comprender la evaluación que el sujeto hace sobre su vida de manera global, para formar un juicio sobre su vida, y así establecer que tanto bienestar subjetivo tiene si logra una valoración de su vida satisfactoria. Este constructo es ampliamente estudiado a nivel mundial en diferentes ámbitos, como el laboral, educacional o el militar. Dichos ámbitos suelen ser fundamentales en la identidad de cada persona y en el modo de percibir la vida. Sin embargo, en Argentina no existen estudios que busquen relacionar dichas variables. Es por ello que el objetivo de la presente investigación es realizar un análisis factorial confirmatorio que establezca los indicadores de validez y confiabilidad en el ámbito militar. Para ello se contó con una muestra de (N = 975) personas mayores de edad, de ambos sexos, que hayan emigrado desde Argentina hacia Israel habiendo hecho el servicio militar en este último país. Los resultados demostraron que existe una buena confiabilidad y correlación entre los ítems, así como un buen índice de bondad del modelo unifactorial. Además, se ha demostrado que no existen diferencias entre el sexo femenino y masculino en relación con el instrumento analizado. Estos resultados guardan relación con diversas investigaciones realizadas en otros países. Por último, se ha confirmado que la escala de satisfacción con la vida puede ser utilizada en un ámbito específico como el militar.
The satisfaction with life scale is an instrument used to understand the evaluation that the subject makes of his/her life in a global way, to form a judgment about his/her life, and thus establish how much subjective well-being he/she has if he/she achieves a satisfactory evaluation of his/her life. This construct is widely studied worldwide in different fields, such as labor, education or the military. These areas are usually fundamental in the identity of each person and in the way of perceiving life. However, in Argentina there are no studies that seek to relate these variables. For this reason, the objective of this research is to carry out a confirmatory factor analysis that establishes validity and reliability indicators in the military field. For this purpose, a sample of (N = 975) persons of legal age, of both sexes, who have emigrated from Argentina to Israel, having done their military service in the latter country, was used. The results showed that there is a good reliability and correlation between the items, as well as a good goodness of fit index of the unifactorial model. In addition, it has been shown that there are no differences between male and female sexes in relation to the instrument analyzed. These results are in line with research carried out in other countries. Finally, it has been confirmed that the satisfaction with life scale can be used in a specific field such as the military.
