El objetivo del presente texto es discutir algunas de las principales tesis del libro Extramundanidade e sobrenatureza de Marco Antonio Valentim. Me interesa, en primer lugar, avanzar en algunas indicaciones sobre qué supone leer un libro. Una teoría de la lectura que busca desplegar la potencia alojada en el texto. En segundo lugar, me detengo en la tesis general que le da sentido a la propuesta del libro. Por último, analizo las dos partes del libro y sus principales argumentos. El sentido general del escrito es discutir cómo se ponen en juego allí un concepto de política y una concepción de diferencia.
The aim of this text is to discuss some of the main theses of the book Extramundanidade e sobrenatureza by Marco Antonio Valentim. I am interested, first of all, in advancing some indications about what reading a book entails. A theory of reading that seeks to unfold the potentiality of the text. Secondly, I will dwell on the general thesis that gives meaning to the book's proposal. Finally, I analyse the two parts of the book and its main arguments. The general purpose of the paper is to discuss how a concept of politics and a concept of difference exist there.
