La existencia: El valor de "Una vida..." deleuziana

Este artículo discute la lectura que, en el debate contemporáneo sobre la biopolítica, le atribuye a Gilles Deleuze una filosofía política basada en la exégesis de su concepto de “vida” presente en su breve y tardío texto “L’immanence: une vie…”. Para ello se analiza el artículo de Giorgio Agamben “La inmanencia absoluta”, donde el filósofo italiano vuelca su rigor y erudición habitual, para tratar de delinear las líneas mediante las cuales Deleuze puede ligarse con la biopolítica. En la primera parte del artículo, Agamben señala que si bien no hay distancia entre inmanencia y vida, tampoco hay identificación (el carácter impersonal, indefinido, de una vida, frente a la determinabilidad de la inmanencia). Estos análisis, que remiten a la ontología de Gilles Deleuze presente desde Diferencia y repetición en toda su complejidad, contrastan con la segunda parte del artículo, donde Agamben desconoce la diferencia y la dislocación entre la inmanencia y una vida, y descuida la caracterización de lo virtual en Deleuze como campo poblado por singularidades e Ideas que le otorgan plena distinción y determinación, a favor de una interpretación de lo virtual como indiferenciado. Este artículo sostiene la tesis que esta indiferencia es ruinosa para el sistema deleuziano, y debe ser evitada a toda costa. El terreno de la vida y de la perseverancia en la existencia (que indudablemente Deleuze no quiere abandonar) no debe ser confundido con el de “una vida…” y el plano de inmanencia, con los que sin embargo se relaciona. Cuando Foucault pensó la biopolítica, nos ofreció un diagrama de las operaciones concretas a través de las cuales el poder contemporáneo (capitalista) funciona; Deleuze continuó esa línea al pensar el rol de las Ideas en la creación del valor de las formas de poder, y su influencia, por tanto, en las luchas concretas por la existencia.
This article discusses the interpretation that, in the contemporary debate on biopolitics, assigns to Gilles Deleuze a political philosophy based in the exegesis of his concept of “life” such as it appears in his brief and late text “L’immanence: une vie…”. In order to achieve so, we analyze the article of Giorgio Agamben “The absolute immanence”, where the Italian philosopher uses his usual rigor and erudition in order to establish the lines through which Deleuze can be linked to biopolitics. In the first part of his article, Agamben points out that even though there is no distance between immanence and life, there is nonetheless no identification (the impersonal, indefinite character of “a life”, facing the determinability of immanence). This analysis, that relate to the ontology of Gilles Deleuze developed since Difference and Repetition in all its complexity, contrast with the second part of the article, where Agamben ignores the characterization of the virtual in Deleuze as a champ populated by singularities and Ideas that provide its full distinction and determination, and presents an interpretation of the virtual as undifferentiated. This article sustains the thesis that this indifference is fatal for the system of Deleuze, and must be avoided at all cost. The territory of the life and the struggle for existence (that Deleuze without any doubt wish not to abandon) must not be confused with that of “a life…” and the plan of immanence, with which it nonetheless rapports. When Foucault thought biopolitics, he offered us a diagram of the concrete operations through which the contemporary (capitalist) power works. Deleuze followed that path by thinking the role of the Ideas in the creation of the value of forms of power, and their influence, thus, in the concrete struggles for the existence.
