Irrupciones trans*temporales (a 50 años del golpe de Estado)

Este artículo aborda la biografía de Marcia Alejandra, mujer transexual que inició su proceso medicalizado de «cambio de sexo» durante la Unidad Popular y logró su cambio legal de nombre en 1974, ya en dictadura. En el primer apartado, presento las nociones de cistem-poralidad, trans*temporalidad y trans*historicidades como claves teórico-metodológicas. En la segunda parte, reconstruyo cómo la prensa abordó la historia de Marcia Alejandra desde una matriz cistemporal. Por contraste, en la tercera parte, retomo archivos informales reenfocando la biografía de Marcia desde una dimensión trans*temporal. A partir del análisis desde estas dos matrices temporales, interrogo qué sucede cuando ponemos en contacto lo travesti/trans* y la historicidad, a 50 años del golpe de Estado.
This article approaches the biography of Marcia Alejandra, a transsexual woman who began her medicalized process of «sex change» during the Popular Unity and achieved her legal name change in 1974, already in dictatorship. In the first section, I present the notions of cistemporality, trans*temporality and trans*historicities, as theoretical-methodological keys. In the second part, I reconstruct how the press approached Marcia Alejandra’s story from a cistemporal framework. In contrast, in the third part, I return to informal archives, refocusing Marcia’s biography from a trans*temporal dimension. From the analysis of these two temporal matrixes, I question what happens when we put in contact the transvestite/ trans* and historicity, 50 years after the coup d’état.
