Canal 10 de Río Negro: límites y posibilidades de su programación

El objetivo del artículo es analizar la programación televisiva del canal público provincial de gestión estatal Canal 10 Río Negro, de Argentina. Nos proponemos interpretar el armado de la grilla como una dimensión de la política pública específica que, no obstante, no puede comprenderse acabadamente sino en relación con las condiciones estructurales de la emisora y del espacio comunicacional. Ello permitirá comprender el tipo de programación ofrecida, sus posibilidades y limitaciones en relación con lo esperable de un canal de gestión estatal provincial. Para ello el diseño metodológico se articula en la utilización de distintas herramientas analíticas que permiten desde un análisis cualitativo comprender el tipo de programación televisiva. Las tres estrategias metodológicas utilizadas son: análisis de la grilla de programación, análisis de fuentes secundarias sobre aspectos estructurales del canal, y entrevistas a informantes clave.
The aim of the article is to analyze the television programming of the state-run provincial public channel Canal 10 Río Negro, in Argentina. We intend to interpret the assembly of the grid as a dimension of specific public policy that, however, cannot be fully understood except in relation to the structural conditions of the station and the communication space. This will make it possible to understand the type of programming offered, its possibilities and limitations in relation to what is expected from a provincial state-run channel. For this, the methodological design is articulated in the use of different analytical tools that allow, from a qualitative analysis, to understand the type of television programming. The three methodological strategies used are: analysis of the programming grid, analysis of secondary sources on structural aspects of the channel, and interviews with key informants.
