La Reforma Protestante: Consecuencias políticas de una reforma religiosa

La Reforma Protestante, inaugurada con las 95 tesis de Lutero fue un hecho fundamental en la historia de las ideas políticas y contribuyó decididamente en el surgimiento de los nuevos Estados-Nacionales y a la idea de las nacionalidades. Para mejor entender las causas y consecuencias que produjo que este movimiento, es necesario analizarlo en el contexto particular en el que se produjo, para entender cómo desde lo teológico se produjo un enorme cambio político. En este sentido Lutero y Calvino (considerados los padres de la reforma) fueron la personificación de un movimiento que se venía gestando desde tiempo atrás, cuyo éxito se debió en gran medida al contexto en el que aparecieron.
Protestant Reformation, inaugurated with the Luther’s 95 theses was a fundamental fact in the history of political ideas and it contributed decisively to the emergence of the new nation-states and to the idea of nationalities. To better understand the causes and consequences that this movement produced, is necessary analyze it within the context in which took place; to understand how from theological issues an enormous political change was produced. In this sense, Luther and Calvin (considered as the fathers of the reform) were the personification of a movement that had been brewing for a long time ago, which success was due to in great extent the context in which they appeared.
