Entre Calibanes: Maldecir al amo, inventar millones de lenguas

En este artículo se argumenta que la figura de Caliban puede ser abordada como una imagen dialéctica en la que cristaliza sintagmáticamente la oposición estructural de la modernidad. A lo largo del texto, se indagan diversos pliegues suyos con el objetivo de exponer la manera en que Caliban se implanta en el epicentro de la razón de dominio y la torna contra sí mediante un acto de creación/invención. Tal ejercicio de ruptura, capaz de desviar el sentido originario de la lengua y la humanidad, muestra que entre lo dicho y lo maldecido emerge un espacio-otro de intervención e imaginación histórica.
This article argues that the figure of Caliban can be approached as a dialectical image in which the structural opposition of modernity syntagmatically crystallizes. Throughout the text, various folds of his are investigated with the aim of exposing the way in which Caliban implants himself in the epicenter of the reason for domination and turns it against itself through an act of creation/invention. Such an exercise in rupture, capable of diverting the original meaning of language and humanity, shows that between what is said and what is cursed, an other-space of intervention and historical imagination emerges.
