La ruptura que produjo la expulsión de los jesuitas en 1767 ha dejado diversos interrogantes sobre el modo en que definieron y establecieron el trazado urbano como parte del sistema de los treinta pueblos; situación que a menudo se sintetiza como la existencia de un modelo jesuítico único. Desde ese cuestionamiento, este estudio pretende verificar la definición del trazado de los pueblos ribereños sobre el Río Uruguay y la relación con la actividad portuaria.
The rupture occurred by the expulsion of the Jesuits in 1767 has made various questionsabout how defined and established the city as part of the thirty people system path; situationsynthesizing as the existence of a single Jesuit model. Since that question, this study aims toverify the definition of the path of the coastal peoples on the Uruguay river and the relationwith the port activity.
