- The author investigates the various forms of capillaritis which are seen in hepatic cases. Next he refers to the procedures which are utilized in practice to prove the diagnosis of capillaritis jsvhich are not ostensible, then he reviews and criticizes the various methods which are used in hepatology and considered by many as tests of the functional insufficiency of the liver. After discussing the value of these methods he sustains: a) That the capillaritis in its various forms is produced as a consequence or accompany liver insufficiency; b) That the functional tests denote capillary or vascular disorders which can be met in hepatic cases, but they are not patrimony of them; c) That the capillaritis in the hepatic cases should be considered a complication which according to its characters can be light or grave.
