El siguiente trabajo tiene como primer objetivo analizar los principales impedimentos jurídicos al aborto que rigen en América Latina. Se analiza luego el rol que estas políticas tuvieron en la etapa progresista en la región. Finalmente, se propone una interpretación de la situación actual como expresión de una forma política de control sobre el cuerpo de las mujeres especialmente activa en nuestro continente.
The objective of this paper is to analyze principal legal impediments to the practice of abortion in Latin America. It is then analyzed the role that these policies had in the politically progressive governement period in the region. It is finally proposed an interpretation about the current situation as an expression of a political form of control over women's body, still being particularly active in our continent.
