Este trabajo comienza con un interrogante concreto: ¿qué importancia tienen las fotografías tomadas de los acontecimientos del 19 y del 20 de diciembre de 2001 en la Argentina para formar parte de un archivo? Acceder al archivo permite comprender cómo las imágenes construyen lo social. Además, fijar un contrapunto entre las fotografías de dos reporteros gráficos que, situados en distintos lugares, pudieron plantear una representación diferente de los hechos de aquellos días de diciembre de 2001.
This work begins with a specific question: How important are the photographs taken of the events of December 19th and 20th, 2001 in Argentina to be part of an archive? Accessing the archive allows us to understand how images construct the social. In addition, it allows us to establish a counterpoint between the photographs of two photojournalists who, located in different places, were able to present a different representation of the events of those days in December 2001.
