En este artículo proponemos un análisis de Eva. Alfa y Omega (2013), de Aurora Venturini en el que buscaremos caracterizar los modos de representación del peronismo y de Eva Perón, al igual que los de auto representación que se plasman en el libro. Nuestra hipótesis sugiere que en Eva. Alfa y Omega, a partir del tono afectivo y del tiempo y el espacio compartido entre la escritora y la dirigente, la representación de Eva habilita la autofiguración como escritora peronista y contribuye a la construcción de un lugar de legitimidad en el campo literario. Al mismo tiempo, la forma que asume el vínculo entre biógrafa y biografiada le permite plantear un rasgo distintivo a esta imagen: la de ser quien mantuvo un vínculo privado con la líder del movimiento y por tanto conocer aspectos suyos que otros desconocen. De este modo, dada la centralidad que adquiere dicho vínculo, y teniendo en cuenta el voluntario subjetivismo con el que se narra, podemos pensar a Aurora Venturini como una representante de la biografía contemporánea argentina.
In this article, we analyze Eva. Alfa y Omega (2013) by Aurora Venturini. Our aim is to explore how peronism and Eva Perón are represented in the text, as well as the ways in which the book reflects on self-representation. We propose the hypothesis that Venturini’s portrayal of Eva, enhanced by the affective tone and the shared space and time between the writer and the political leader facilitates Venturini’s selffiguration and helps her carve out a place in the literary field. Simultaneously, that the way in which the relationship between biographer and biographee is built allows her to bring up a key feature of her image: being the person who had a private relationship with the leader of the movement and, therefore, being privy to facets not known by others. Considering the significant relationship between biographer and subject, and acknowledging the subjective lens through which the story is narrated, we can view Aurora Venturini as a key figure in the biographical genre.
