Un fotopolarímetro nuevo se está construyendo en el CASLEO. El instrumento está pensado para ser operado desde un computador PC/XT. El computador configura el instrumento como fotómetro o polarímetro y controla la adquisición de datos y los movimientos de los mecanismos dei equipo. Se presenta una descripción y la teoría de funcionamiento de la electrónica dei instrumento. En este artículo se describen el hardware y el software.
A new photopolarimeter is under construction in CASLEO. The instrument will be operated automatically by a PC/XT computer from the control room. The computer configures the instrument as photometer or polarimeter and controls the data acquisition and movements of the several mechanism of the equipment. A description and the theory of operation of the electronics of the instrument is presented. The hardwared and the control software of the instrument are described in this article.
