La Oda I, 31 de Horacio contiene una oración a Apolo como dios de la medicina motivada por la fiesta de las Meditrinalia. La crítica filológica la ha considerado algo esquemática y con poca originalidad respecto de otras del poemario; en general no ha merecido muchos comentarios exegéticos. Intentamos señalar sus valores y rescatar la simplicidad de su belleza y el vigor de su autenticidad deslindando los elementos cultuales de los poéticos.
The Horace's Ode I,31 contains a prayer to Apolo as God of the medicine caused by the festivity of the Meditrinalia. The philological criticism considered this ode somewhat schematical and with scarce originality when the scholars compare it with the rest of the odes. We try to point out its worths and to make up for the simplicity of its beauty and the strength of its authenticity delimitating the cultural elements of the poetics.
