Utopías robóticas: un imaginario contrahegemónico

La presente investigación se propone analizar las producciones de robots mestizos dirigidas por Paula Gaetano Adi, Gustavo Crembil y Mariela Yeregui a la luz del concepto de utopía. A partir de estrategias low tech, estas producciones indagan en un imaginario atravesado por el desarrollo de conductas afectivas, el encuentro entre especies, la indistinción entre lo natural y lo artificial, y la utilización de tecnologías que recuperan materialidades locales. De este modo, posibilitan un imaginario utópico que surge como interrupción del tiempo hegemónico y habilitan la apertura de nuevas narrativas.
The present research aims to analyze the productions of mestizo robots directed by Paula Gaetano Adi, Gustavo Crembil and Mariela Yeregui regarding the concept of utopia. Starting from low tech strategies, this works investigate an imaginary crossed by the development of affective behaviors, the encounter between species, the indistinction between the natural and the artificial and the use of technologies that recover local materialities. In this way, they make possible a utopian imaginary that arises as an interruption of hegemonic time, enabling the opening of new narratives.
