- This paper proposes an ethical reinterpretation of the right to education of persons with disabilities, with emphasis being made on the situation in Latin America . After consideration of juridical systems, political funding methods, inclusion percentages and follow-up programmes for disabled people of schooling age, a series of issues on the idea of educational training, of being with others and about the ethical responsibilities in the task of teaching.
Este texto apresenta uma releitura ética acerca do direito à educação das pessoas com deficiência, com uma ênfase prioritária da situação em América Latina. A partir de considerar os sistemas jurídicos, os modos de financiamento políticos, as percentagens de inclusão e os programas de seguimento da população com deficiência em idade escolar, se deriva toda uma série de discussões sobre a ideia de formação educativa, de acompanhamento e as responsabilidades éticas na tarefa de educar.
