Se presentan aquí las diversas dimensiones abordadas desde las ciencias naturales relativas a las Islas Malvinas y su indisoluble vínculo con la Patagonia, el Atlántico Sur y la Antártida. Se expone la relevancia de las mismas en la agenda de investigaciones de las universidades y el sistema científicotecnológico argentino para contribuir a la discusión del proyecto de país y para afianzar la soberanía nacional en el Atlántico Sur.
The diverse dimensions addressed from the natural science related to the Malvinas Islands and their inextricable relationship with La Patagonia, the Southern Atlantic and the Antarctic are presented here. The relevance of these dimensions in the investigations from the universities and the scientifictechnologic Argentinean system to contribute to the discussion about the country‟s project and to consolidate the national sovereignty in the Southern Atlantic is exposed.
