Periodismo de Migraciones : Análisis de contenido de guías y manuales para la cobertura informativa

El Periodismo de Migraciones es una especialidad que difunde y divulga aspectos relacionados con la migración en los medios de comunicación social. Por eso, esta investigación cualitativa-documental tiene como propósito describir mediante un análisis de contenido, 10 guías y manuales de cobertura periodística sobre dicho fenómeno social. Los hallazgos consisten en que los aspectos teóricos están fundamentados en la migración, Derechos Humanos, tratamiento informativo y desinformación y las recomendaciones periodísticas, están centradas en la redacción, representación positiva del migrante, desmontaje de estereotipos y discursos de odio, vocería al migrante, priorizar el discurso del sentimiento y enfocar con perspectiva de género. Entre las conclusiones hay que destacar que las guías y manuales analizados plantean lineamientos relacionados con el enfoque, agenda, lenguaje, fuentes, testimonios, seguimiento informativo e innovación de formatos.
Migration journalism is a specialty that disseminates and discloses aspects related to migration in the media. Therefore, the purpose of this qualitative-documentary research is to describe, through a content analysis, 10 guides and manuals of journalistic coverage of this social phenomenon. The findings consist in the fact that the theoretical aspects are based on migration, Human Rights, informative treatment and disinformation and the journalistic recommendations are focused on writing, positive representation of the migrant, dismantling of stereotypes and hate speeches, giving voice to the migrant, prioritizing the discourse of feeling and focusing with a gender perspective. Among the conclusions, it should be noted that the guides and manuals analyzed propose guidelines related to the approach, agenda, language, sources, testimonies, informative follow-up and format innovation.
