Desde 1919 la burguesía argentina respondió a las luchas obreras con diferentes mecanismos de contención social, donde la represión tuvo un papel destacado. El presente trabajo trata de explicar los motivos, las coyunturas internas en el periodo y, desde luego, los hechos represivos en sí mismos. El objetivo es reconstruir los hechos, presentar los actores sociales y demostrar el acuerdo entre el gobierno y las patronales para sofocar las demandas laborales, destruir o limitar las organizaciones gremiales y someter a los trabajadores al dominio del capital. Nuestro análisis se centró en la provincia de Entre Ríos, escenario privilegiado de los hechos represivos. Para ofrecer una reconstrucción fiel a los hechos nos hemos valido de una gran cantidad de fuentes de diversos tipos, como prensas obreras y comerciales y fuentes del Ministerio del interior de la Nación.
Since 1919 the argentine bourgeoisie responded to the workers' struggles with different mechanisms of social containment, where repression played a prominent role. The present work tries to explain the reasons, the internal conjunctures in the period and, of course, the repressive events themselves. The objective is to reconstruct the facts, present the social actors and demonstrate the agreement between the government and employers to stifle labor demands, destroy or limit union organizations and subject workers to the domination of capital. Our analysis focused on the province of Entre Ríos, a privileged scene of the repressive acts. To offer a faithful reconstruction of the facts, we have used a large number of sources of various types, such as workers' and commercial presses, as well as sources from the Ministry of the Interior of the Nation.
