Una contemplación de la Virgen comunera

En la capilla del cementerio San Jerónimo, ubicada en el barrio Alberdi de la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, se venera una imagen de la Virgen del Rosario, a la que los indígenas Comechingones llaman La Comunera. Este artículo considera brevemente la formación de esta devoción en el devenir histórico de este pueblo ancestral que, a lo largo de los años, fue dibujando nuevos rasgos de la Madre de Dios. Simultáneamente se fue configurando un modo inculturado y pluriforme de ser Iglesia en la ciudad con el aporte de las manifestaciones de fe de grupos de migrantes que llegaron para establecerse en ese lugar.
In the chapel of the San Jerónimo cemetery, located in the Alberdi neighborhood of the city of Córdoba, Argentina, an image of the Virgin of the Rosary is venerated, which is called “La Comunera” by the indigenous Comechingones. This article briefly considers the formation of this devotion in the historical development of this ancestral people, which over the years has drawn new features of the Mother of God. Simultaneously, an inculturated and pluriform way of being Church in the city was configured with the contribution of the manifestations of faith of groups of migrants who arrived to settle in that place.
