Bases bíblicas de la instrucción “Donum Vitae”

Resumen: El artículo tiene cuatro partes. La primera de Introducción, sitúa su justificación; describe la instrucción Donum vitae que estudia el respeto a la dignidad de la vida humana desde su concepción, las cuestiones morales planteadas por las intervenciones técnicas sobre la procreación humana, y la orientación sobre la ley moral y las leyes civiles en torno a su legitimidad. Otra fuente adicional de consulta es la Sagrada Biblia de la Conferencia Episcopal Española, que nos sirve para situar citas y referencias a los temas tratados. Los fundamentos cristianos del respeto a la vida se explican también. Otros textos están tomados en relación con el don de la vida. En la segunda parte, estudiamos el Contenido de la instrucción. En ella resumimos brevemente las ideas desarrolladas en la instrucción y haciendo comentarios de síntesis de cada una de ellas. En la tercera parte del artículo se presentan los Resultados y discusión. Y en la cuarta parte las Conclusiones desde el punto de vista bioético.
Abstract: The article is divided in four parts. The first one is the Introduction, where its justification is explained; it also describes the Donum vitae instruction which studies the respect to human life dignity since the moment of conception, the moral questions raised by the technical interventions in human procreation and the orientation of moral and civil laws in regards to their legitimacy. Another source for consultation is the Sacred Bible of the Spanish Episcopal Conference used to extract quotation and make references about the questions at stake. Christian foundations for the respect to life are also explained. Other texts are related to the gift of life. In the second part, we deal with the Contents of the instruction. There, we briefly summarize the ideas developed in the instruction and comment the synthesis of each one. The third part of this article contains the Results and discussion. The fourth part is reserved for the Conclusions made from a bioethical point of view.
