Abstract: The issue of reasonable time of processes as a part of jurisdictional protection, based on the precedents of the Inter-American Court, is consider in the light of international treaties that have set general parameters within which the processes must be conducted. Six Argentine cases of inter-American jurisprudence – the ultimate interpreter of the American Convention – were considered, analysing the Court criteria, recommendations and the elements taken into account to determine the reasonableness of the term of judicial processes.
Sommario: La questione della ragionevolezza dei processi nell’ambito della tutela giurisdizionale, sulla base dei precedenti della Corte Interamericana, è considerata alla luce dei trattati internazionali che hanno fissato parametri generali entro i quali devono essere condotti i processi. Sono stati esaminati sei casi argentini di giurisprudenza interamericana – interprete ultimo della Convenzione Americana – analizzando i criteri della Corte, le raccomandazioni e gli elementi presi in considerazione per determinare la ragionevolezza del termine dei processi giudiziari.
