Los recursos noéticos de madres de niños con cáncer que residen en la Fundación HOPe

La investigación que aquí se presenta tuvo como principal objetivo conocer las manifestaciones de los recursos noéticos en mujeres que brindan el cuidado primario de sus hijos, niños con cáncer atendidos por la Fundación HOPe, en la cuidad de Salta, en el año 2021. Se inicia con una revisión teórica de la Logoterapia desde diversos autores, pero centrada específicamente en los aportes de su creador y precursor, Viktor Frankl. El marco teórico está dividido en tres capítulos: Introducción a la Logoterapia, Experiencia del cuidador primario y Cáncer Infantil. Es una investigación cualitativa, de carácter exploratorio y descriptivo, con un diseño fenomenológico. Las técnicas de recolección de datos elegidas fueron: la observación participante pasiva, la entrevista semiestructurada individual y la Escala Existencial de Längle (2000). La muestra estuvo conformada por cinco casos de mujeres residentes de la Fundación HOPe durante 2021. Se concluye que estas madres de niños con cáncer manifiestan recursos noéticos de Autotrascendencia y Autodistanciamiento (capacidades personales) inclusive antes de residir en la fundación, cuya movilización se observa en sus comportamientos y elecciones. A su vez, la expresión de los recursos noéticos de la Libertad y Responsabilidad (capacidades existenciales) está orientada a garantizar el bienestar de sus niños durante el tratamiento médico. Dos participantes, los casos Josefina y Lidia, evidencian dificultades en la expresión del Autodistanciamiento y en las capacidades existenciales ante la situación límite que debe enfrentar. Además, se descubrió que las participantes cuentan con escaso apoyo y contención emocional por parte de familiares y de los padres de sus hijos. Asimismo, vivencian sentimientos de soledad, tristeza y angustia, por lo que recurren a Dios para encontrar fortaleza y seguir adelante ante la enfermedad de sus hijos. The main objective of the research presented here was to know the manifestations of noetic resources in women who provide the primary care of their children, children with cancer cared for by the HOPe Foundation, in the city of Salta, in 2021. It begins with a theoretical review of Logotherapy from various authors, but focused specifically on the contributions of its creator and precursor, Viktor Frankl. The theoretical framework is divided into three chapters: Introduction to Logotherapy, Experience of the primary caregiver and Childhood Cancer. It is a qualitative research, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, with a phenomenological design. The data collection techniques chosen were: passive participant observation, individual semi-structured interview and the Existential Scale of Längle (2000). The sample consisted of five cases of women residents of the HOPe foundation during 2021. It is concluded that these mothers of children with cancer manifest noetic resources of Self-Transcendence and Self- Distancing (personal capacities) even before residing in the foundation, whose deployment is observed in their behaviors and choices. In turn, the expression of the noetic resources of Freedom and Responsibility (existential capacities) is aimed at ensuring the well-being of their children during medical treatment. Two participants, the Josefina and Lydia cases, show difficulties in the expression of self-distance and existential capacities in the face of the limit situation that must be faced. In addition, it was found that the participants have little support and emotional containment from family members and the parents of their children. They also experience feelings of loneliness, sadness and anguish, so they turn to God to find strength and move forward in the face of their children's illness.
