El objetivo de esta publicación, es brindar una introducción técnico-jurídica para comprender las principales reformas del Nuevo Código Civil y Comercial de la Nación Argentina. Resulta relevante conocerlas, dado que el cuerpo normativo anterior, databa de ciento cuarenta y cuatro años. Su sanción fue en el año 1869 y empezó a regir dos años después (1871). Por su parte el Código de Comercio, fue aprobado para todo el país en 1862, tratándose de un código de ciento cincuenta y tres años de aplicación. La unificación de ambas normas de fondo es una novedad introducida por la Reforma Constitucional de 1994. Hubo, previo a la misma, varios intentos de reformas parciales, por ejemplo la Ley N° 17.711 de 1968 que modifica el Código Civil. La nueva Carta Magna, previó en su art 75 inc. 12, la posibilidad de que el Código Civil y de Comercio, compartan el mismo cuerpo. Así, el 1 de agosto de 2015 entró en vigencia el Nuevo Código Civil y Comercial de la Nación. Se trata de un cuerpo de normas, constituido por órganos que forman parte de un todo, que regula diversas instituciones jurídicas, que son tratadas en el presente trabajo. The purpose of this publication is to provide a technical-legal introduction to help the reader understand the main reforms to the New Civil and Commercial Code of Argentina. It is relevant to know them, since the previous body of law dated back to one hundred and forty-four years ago. It was enacted in the year 1869 and it came into effect two years later (1871). The Commercial Code, on its part, had been adopted for the whole country in 1862, being a code of one hundred and fifty-three years of implementation. The unification of both substantial rules is an innovation introduced by the 1994 Constitutional Reform. Previous to this, there were several attempts of partial reforms, for example Law No. 17.711 in the year 1968, which amends the Civil Code. The possibility that the Civil and Commerce Code would share the same body was envisaged by the new Magna Carta in its Sec. 75, sub. 12. Thus, on August 1, 2015, the New Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation entered into force. It is a body of rules constituted by organs that form an integrated whole. It regulates diverse legal institutions that are specifically addressed in the present work. --
