El efecto populista: territorios nacionales, provincializaciones y lógica populista durante el primer peronismo

En este trabajo nos proponemos indagar la relación entre el proceso de provincialización de los territorios nacionales en la Argentina de mediados de siglo XX y la lógica de configuración identitaria del populismo peronista. La hipótesis que pretendemos discutir postula que la relación entre populismo e instituciones políticas no es, tal como se plantea en la gran mayoría de la bibliografía sobre populismo, antitética. Por el contrario, y sin por ello ensayar una defensa laudatoria del primer peronismo, creemos que revisando dichas provincializaciones puede verse cómo la institucionalidad puede tender a reforzar o intensificar la frontera política encarnada por el proceso político populista.
In this work, we propose to analyze the relation between the national territories process of provincialization in the middle 20th century Argentine and the identity configuration of the peronist populism. The hypotheses we tend to discuss establish that, against most of the bibliography on populism, the relation between the latter and political institutions is not antithetical. On the contrary, and without developing a defense of the first peronism, we think that by studying provincializations it is possible to see how institutions tend to reinforce the political frontier incarnated in the populist political process.
