En el siguiente trabajo, a partir de la lectura de Las constelaciones oscuras, seguiremos las pistas de dos excéntricos representantes de la Ciencia del XIX, el naturalista Niklas Bruun y el botánico Tartare d´Hunval, intentando desentrañar la lógica que subyace al concepto occidental moderno de mundo. A medida que avancemos en la definición de aquello que pueda ser un mundo para el sujeto humano, seremos testigos, junto a Bruun y d´Hunval, del acoso de mundos más allá de este. De este modo, en un espacio-tiempo herido de muerte e irrespirable como el nuestro, seremos testigos de los Afueras que insisten y se abren para que imaginemos y alucinemos materialmente una cohabitación multiespecie en esta, nuestra única Tierra.
In the following work, based on the reading of The dark constellations, we will follow the tracks of two eccentric representatives of 19th century Science, the naturalist Niklas Bruun and the botanist Tartare d'Hunval, trying to unravel the logic behind the modern Western concept of the world. As we advance in the definition of what a world can be for the human subject, we will witness, together with Bruun and d'Hunval, the haunting of worlds beyond this one. Thus, in a mortally wounded and unbreathable space-time such as ours, we will witness the Outsides that exist and open up for us to imagine and materially hallucinate a multispecies co-habitation on this, our one and only Earth.
