Puentes entre el asociacionismo laboral y étnico en Tucumán al despuntar el novecientos

El objetivo de este trabajo es articular dos esferas del asociacionismo: el étnico y el obrero, indagando sus especificidades e instancias de encuentro. En esa dirección, analizaremos las trayectorias de militantes y dirigentes que encabezaron actividades de participación política y ocuparon un lugar protagónico en conmemoraciones y homenajes, traspasando las fronteras entre el mundo asociativo inmigrante y el universo laboral. Un examen de las fuentes –principalmente diarios provinciales, socialistas y prensa étnica– permite sugerir este tránsito entre distintos espacios asociativos por parte de renombradas figuras del asociacionismo tucumano que actuaron, a su vez, en sociedades de trabajadores situadas en provincias vecinas, como Santiago del Estero.
The aim of this work is to articulate two spheres of associations: ethnic and the workers,investigating their specificities and instances of encounter. In this direction, we will analyze the trajectories of activists and leaders who led activities of political participation and took a leading role in commemorations and tributes, crossing the boundaries between the immigrant associations and the labor universe. An examination of the sources mainly provincial newspapers, socialists and ethnic press– suggest this transit between different associative spaces by renowned association worker figures from Tucuman who acted, in turn, in companies located in neighboring provinces such as Santiago del Estero.
