Constituyendo "libertad" en dictadura

A partir del estallido social ocurrido en Chile en octubre del 2019, la multiplicación de demandas sociales eclipsó la legitimidad del sistema político,económico y social constituido en la dictadura militar de Pinochet, consolidado en la Constitución de 1980, y administrado tras la vuelta a la democracia. A partir de la revisión de diversos escritos de Jaime Guzmán, indagamos en las principales influencias del pensamiento del denominado ideólogo de la Constitución del 80, con el objeto de analizar la relación del orden constitucional advenido de la dictadura con los encuentros y desencuentros entre democracia y neoliberalismo que dicho modelo instala en el país.
Starting with the social outbreak that occurred in Chile in October 2019, the multiplication of social demands eclipsed the legitimacy of the political/economic and social system constituted in the Pinochet military dictatorship, consolidated in the 1980 Constitution, and administered after the return of the democracy. Based on the review of various writings by Jaime Guzmán, we investigate the main influences on the thought of the so-called ideologue of the Constitution of 1980, in order to analyze the relationship between the constitutional order that came from the dictatorship and the encounters and disagreements between democracy and neoliberalism that said model installs in the country.
