Partiendo de Prosas profanas (1896) -el pronunciamiento dariano, a la vez acrático y aristocrático, en defensa del Arte Nuevo- recuperamos una tensión entre las nociones de ruido moderno y armonía silénica para interrogarnos sobre una discusión estética que expone una crisis de percepción moderna en Latinoamérica, manifiesta también en la crónica de viajes. Mediante un trabajo contrastivo de diversas fuentes literarias y filosóficas, indagamos los alcances de la especulación estético-metafísica de Darío en torno a una unidad pánica, plena de armonía, utopía singular y colectiva de acceso a dimensiones trascendentes: la de la vida total, común al animal y al medio natural, y la de la supervivencia espectral en el símbolo, ambas amenazadas por un biopoder con potencia de regular los límites de lo sensible.
Beginning with Prosas profanas (1896), the acratic, and at the same time aristocratic Ruben Dario‟s manifesto in defense of New Art, our work recover a tension between the notions of modern noise and Silenius harmony, to examine an esthetic discussion which exposes a crisis of modern reception un Latin America. This esthetic discussion is also evident in the travel chronicles. Comparing literary and philosophical sources, we investigate in Dario‟s aesthetic-metaphysical speculation the significance of their speculations towards panic unity, harmony fullness, singular and collective access to transcendent dimension‟s utopia: that of total life, for both animal and natural environment, and that of the spectral survival in the symbol, both threatened for a biopower that is potentially capable of regulate the limits of the sensible.
