Releyendo la historiografía sobre el Mendozazo en clave de imágenes

Partiendo del desborde memorial articulado principalmente a través de la oralidad o la palabra escrita que tuvo lugar alrededor del Mendozazo en ocasión de su quincuagésimo aniversario, el presente texto busca volver sobre el hecho histórico desde las imágenes que en distintos momentos han sido puestas en circulación por la academia, a fin de reflexionar en torno a su lugar en las narrativas que se pretenden entramar, y vislumbrar qué tipo de representaciones sociales construyen. A tal fin resulta necesario volver sobre una breve descripción del hecho que nos convoca, para luego espejar los relatos escritos sobre el Mendozazo con las fotografías que a lo largo de estas décadas han circulado de modo predominante por la retina de las y los mendocinos/as y recuperar aquellas que han quedado en los márgenes.
Departing from the “memorial overflow” arisen mainly through orality or written words that took place around the fiftieth anniversary of the “Mendozazo”, this article seeks to return to the historical event through the images put into circulation by the academy at different moments, in order to reflect on their place in the intended narratives, and glimpse what kind of social representations they build. To this end it is necessary to return to a brief description of such upsurge, to then compare the stories written about the Mendozazo with the photographs that throughout these decades have predominantly been disseminated and recover those that have remained in the margins.
