Los dilemas de la desestalinización: El Partido Comunista chileno ante el XX Congreso del PCUS

En este artículo se propone estudiar la configuración inicial que adoptó la desestalinización en el Partido Comunista de Chile, a partir de la recepción que hizo de las resoluciones e informes del XX Congreso del Partido Comunista de la Unión Soviética, celebrado en febrero de 1956. En particular se sostiene que, a propósito del llamado a superar el problema del culto a la personalidad y ante la imposibilidad de execrar al dictador soviético, se produjo un proceso de discusión interna que rápidamente develó los dilemas y, con ello, los límites que tal desafío significó para este partido.
In this article, we propose to study the initial configuration adopted by the de-Stalinization process in the Communist Party of Chile, based on the reception of the resolutions and reports of the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, held in February 1956. It is argued that, considering the call to overcome the issue of personality cult and the impossibility of execrating the Soviet dictator, an internal discussion process took place that quickly revealed the dilemmas and limits that this challenge posed for the party.
