Una revisión de la teorización sobre la metáfora en el Tratado I de La metáfora viva de Paul Ricoeur

La metáfora es un tema que ha despertado interés desde Aristóteles, pero particularmente ha sido estudiado luego del giro lingüístico (Cf. Begué, 2013: 49). Entre los principales trabajos de esta época se pueden mencionar los siguientes: en 1975 se publicó en París La métaphore vive, de Paul Ricoeur y en 1980, Metaphors we live by, de Lakoff y Johnson. Esta última obra recibió influencias, entre otros autores, del mismo Paul Ricoeur. El presente artículo intenta analizar las principales tesis acerca de la metáfora que presenta Ricoeur en el tratado I de La metáfora viva. En el apartado uno se presenta una breve caracterización del contenido de la obra completa. En el apartado dos se desarrollan los contenidos del Estudio primero. En el apartado tres se explicitan las principales tesis del autor presentes en el tratado analizado. En los apartados cuatro y cinco se realizan algunos aportes a la teoría de la metáfora desarrollada. Finalmente, se presenta una conclusión.
Metaphors have been studied since Aristotle, but they have been of particular interest of study since the time of linguistic change (Cf. Begué 2013: 49). Among the most important publications are La métaphore vive (The Rule of Metaphor, in English), by Paul Ricoeur, which was published in 1975, in Paris, and Metaphors we live by, by Lakoff and Johnson, published in 1980. This, in turn, was influenced by some authors, among them, Paul Ricoeur. This paper aims to analyze the main theses about metaphors shown by Ricoeur in Study I of The Rule of Metaphor. Next section shows a brief characterization of the book contents. Section two deals with Study I contents. Section three shows the main theses of the author. And sections four and five give some contributions to the metaphor theory. Finally, the conclusion section is shown.
