La invención de sí (Foucault y el retorno a una estética de la subjetividad)

El presente trabajo pretende indagar de qué modo las últimas investigaciones de Michel Foucault desarrollaron un enfoque ético sobre la subjetividad y sobre la noción de sujeto. Dicho enfoque se ha llevado adelante en las investigaciones reunidas en relación con la sexualidad, entendida como un dispositivo discursivo de la subjetividad y en torno a las técnicas de sí, que conforman una serie de prácticas en el hacer ser del sujeto. De este modo, hemos centrado nuestra atención en aquellos aspectos que nos permiten observar cómo la indagación realizada sobre el sexo, da lugar a circunscribir la elaboración de una historia crítica del pensamiento que problematiza la subjetividad y el sujeto desde una perspectiva ética, que al intentar retomar la constitución subjetiva por medio del placer, propone una estética de la existencia que le otorga a las investigaciones foucaultianas una profundidad con relación a la antigüedad estudiada como instante singular del discurso del sexo, y una estrecha relación con el presente cuando se enuncia la orientación de dicha investigación.
The present work asks about the ways in whichthe last investigations of Michel Foucault developed an ethical perspective about subjectivity and the notion of subject. This perspective has was developed by Foucault in the collected investigations related to sexuality as a discoursive apparatus of subjectivity and around the techniques that constitute a series of practices that get the subject to be. Somehow we have centered our attention on those aspects that allow us to define the elaboration of a critical history of thought that makes a problematical point of view about the subjectivity and subject through an ethical perspective, which tries to return to the subjective constitution though pleasure, to propose an aesthetic of existence that brings Foucaultian investigations to a deeper relation with his studies on antiquity as a singular moment of sexual discourse, strait relation with the present where it is enunciating the orientation of that investigation.
