The paradox of witness in the literary key

The present article is structured in two parts. The first one is a theoretical part. It analyses, by dissaggregating its parts, the paradox of witness formulated about Primo Levi –the perfect witness– in relation to Nazi camps, by the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben. In second place, this article studies the mechanisms by which the paradox of witness is recreated in literature, particularly in a novel about the latest dictatorship, La casa de los conejos by Laura Alcoba.
El presente artículo se estructura en dos partes. La primera de ellas es de carácter teórico y analiza, desagregándola, la paradoja del testimonio planteada por el filósofo italiano Giorgio Agamben a propósito de Primo Levi –considerado por él el testigo perfecto– y los campos del genocidio nazi. En una segunda instancia, el trabajo estudia, a partir de una novela puntual de la literatura argentina sobre la última dictadura, La casa de los conejos de Laura Alcoba, cómo se ficcionaliza la paradoja del testimonio y se reflexiona sobre ella en este tipo de literatura.
