Instrucciones para armar una mujer migrante encarcelada: La performatividad del discurso penitenciario (Santa Fe, 2004- 2019)

El objetivo de este artículo consiste en analizar cómo opera el pensamiento de Estado (Bourdieu, 1997) en la construcción performativa de las mujeres migrantes encarceladas. Me interesa preguntarme por el modo en que la encrucijada de habitar la cárcel pone a estas mujeres frente al Estado -encarnado en agentes e instituciones que intervienen en su encierro- que las nombra, las define, las interpela y las afecta, les dice quiénes son y quiénes deberían ser. Les da contorno a sus estrategias y les exige ponerse a hablar en su idioma -el idioma del Estado- para encontrar la salida. Con el objetivo de no utilizar acríticamente las categorías analíticas de pensamiento de Estado, hago propia la invitación de Domenech (2009) de indagar la visión del Estado y cuestionar las construcciones sociales que promueve e impone sobre las migraciones y los/as migrantes. Con este fin, analizaré cuestiones que emergieron como reiteraciones en las experiencias de las mujeres que transitaron el encierro en las unidades penitenciarias N°4 y 5 de la provincia de Santa Fe, a lo largo del período que se desarrolla entre 2004 y 2019; tanto en su propio testimonio como en los legajos penitenciarios que registran su encarcelamiento.
The aim of this paper is to analyze how “state thought” (Bourdieu, 1997) operates in the performative construction of imprisoned migrant women. I asked about how the crossroads of living in prison puts these women in front of the State - embodied in agents and institutions that intervene in their confinement- that names them, defines them, questions them and affects them, tells them who they are and who they should be. It defines their strategies and requires them to speak in their language -the language of the State- to find a way out. In order not to uncritically use the exploratory categories of “state thought”, I take Domenech's (2009) invitation to investigate the vision of the State and question the social constructions that it promotes and imposes on migrations and migrants. To do this, I will analyze issues that arose as reiterations in the experiences of women who went through confinement in penitentiary units No. 4 and 5 of the province of Santa Fe, throughout the period between 2004 and 2019; both in his own testimony and in the prison files that recorded his imprisonment.
