Activismo por el derecho a conocer los orígenes en Argentina

En Argentina desde 2002 existen organizaciones de activistas que buscan sus orígenes y reclaman por leyes que garanticen su derecho a la identidad porque afirman que su demanda aún no ha sido atendida por el Estado. En 2013 el Consejo Económico y Social de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires convocó a todos los activistas para elaborar un proyecto de ley que ofrezca herramientas legislativas y jurídicas para quienes quieren conocer sus orígenes. Sobre la base del material etnográfico construido en las reuniones de la mesa de trabajo que integraron los activistas, exploro los sentidos que son atribuidos por este colectivo de activistas a categorías tales como víctima, afectado, identidad, origen, biología y también sus valores y posicionamientos sobre la cantidad de personas que buscan sus orígenes actualmente en Argentina. El artículo describe el proceso de construcción del proyecto de ley denominado “Derecho a la Identidad de Origen y Biológica” atendiendo a las características que asume este tipo de activismo y al dialogo que establece con otros activismos que han resultado nodales en las demandas por verdad y justicia en Argentina. Así, es posible comprender los activismos de finales del siglo XX y comienzos del siglo XXI como parte de una genealogía activista.
Since 2002, there are activist groups in Argentina that seek to know about their own origins and demand laws that guarantee their right to identity, because they claim that their demands have not yet been addressed by the State. In 2013, the Economic and Social Council of the City of Buenos Aires called on all activists to draft a bill that granted legislative and legal tools for those who want to know their origins. Based on the ethnographic material that was built during the meetings of the work group in which the activists participated, I explore the senses assigned by these activists to categories such as “victim”, “affected”, “identity”, “origin”, “biology”, but also their values and opinions about the number of people seeking their origins today in Argentina. The article describes the building process of the bill known as "Right to biological and original Identity", focusing in the characteristics assumed by this type of activism and the dialogue it establishes with other types of activisms that have been essential to build historical demands for truth and justice in Argentina. Thus, it is possible to understand these activisms of the late twentieth century and early twenty first century as part of an activist genealogy.
