El objetivo de este artículo es examinar la conceptualización de la Naturaleza en el De Planctu Naturae de Alain de Lille, determinando cómo se articula la justificación de la anti-naturalidad del deseo homosexual en la misma y qué implicancias se ponen en juego en dicha obra en lo que concierne al género y a la sexualidad en general. Dado que Alain de Lille utiliza (al menos) tres metáforas para dar cuenta de la copulación, a fin de representarla como paradigmáticamente heterosexual, este estudio se propone abordarlas en tres apartados principales respectivos (3-5). A su vez, se integra a la investigación un texto anónimo ycontemporáneo que trata estas mismas temáticas: Altercatio Ganimedis et Helene.
The aim of this article is to examine the conceptualization of Nature in Alain of Lille’s De Planctu Naturae, determining how the author construes the justification of the thesis that homosexual desire is contrary to nature and the implications that can be drawn from it concerning gender and sexuality in general. Given that Alain of Lille utilizes (at least) three metaphors to account for copulation, in order to represent it as paradigmatically heterosexual, this paper studies them in three respective sections (3-5). Furthermore, this research integrates an anonymous and contemporary text that addresses the aforementioned topics: Altercatio Ganimedis et Helene.
