El presente trabajo propone una lectura de la poetanorteamericana Emily Dickinson (1830-1886). Centrándonos en la figuradel retiro y la reclusión, que tanto la crítica como la misma poetaconstruyeran, y analizando las diversas figuraciones de intimidad, con lasque su obra llegara hasta nuestros días, nuestro trabajo plantea unalectura que, más allá de ello, pone en escena al poema como artefacto, alpoema como interrogante inagotable. De este modo, proyectado lasdiversas versiones del apartamiento que la poeta experimentara, perotambién, entrecruzando éstas con los alcances estéticos de una poética másque singular para su tiempo, es que leemos el poema como casa y tumba ala circunferencia de lo cotidiano en la que Dickinson llevó adelante su obra.
The present work proposes a reading of the American poet Emily Dickinson (1830-1886). Focusing on the figure of retirement and seclusion, which both critics and the poet herself constructed, and analyzing the various figurations of intimacy with which her work has survived to this day, our work proposes a reading that, beyond that, puts the poem on stage as an artifact, the poem as an inexhaustible question. In this way, projected the various versions of the separation that the poet experienced, but also, intersecting these with the aesthetic reaches of a poetic more than singular for its time, is that we read the poem as a house and grave on the circumference of the everyday in the one that Dickinson carried out his work.
