El presente estudio se enmarca en un proyecto cuyo objetivo es conocer la diversidad de ascomicetes asociados al “laurel del cerro”. En este primer aporte se estudian las especies de Hypoxylon. Se brinda la primera cita de H. cf. undulatum para la Argentina y se registra a H. flavoargillaceum e H. lenormandii por primera vez sobre este hospedante. Se incluyen descripciones, ilustraciones y comentarios de las especies.
