El neologismo sexting designa la práctica, cada vez más extendida y naturalizada, de producir y luego compartir fotografías sexuales personales utilizando el teléfono celular. El artículo analiza, a través de testimonios de mujeres jóvenes mendocinas, el papel de las redes sociales y la pornografía no sólo como fuentes de inspiración para crear imágenes sexuales sino también como espacios y discursos reguladores. Allí, las jóvenes aprenden qué mostrar y cómo mostrarlo a fin de producir una imagen del cuerpo y la sexualidad que sea exitosa.
