La Escuela Nacional de Vitivinicultura de Mendoza : la adaptación, generación y difusión de conocimientos aplicados a la industria vitivinícola (1896-1920)

En esta oportunidad abordaremos la relación entre la organización de un sistema de enseñanza agrícola por parte del Ministerio de Agricultura de la Nación y la consolidación de la agroindustria vitivinícola en Mendoza. Para ello atenderemos a un caso particular: la historia institucional de la Escuela Nacional de Vitivinicultura desde su fundación, en 1896, hasta 1920. En relación con esto, en este trabajo, por un lado, analizaremos la instrumentación de sucesivos planes de estudio y su relación, o no, con el contexto económico y productivo, así como también, con las demandas de los empresarios. Por otro lado, tendremos en cuenta la procedencia institucional de los primeros docentes del establecimiento, a fin de conocer si se revirtió la inicial tendencia de contratar agrónomos extranjeros.
In this opportunity, we will approach the relation between the organization of a system of agricultural education, on the part of the National Department of Agriculture, and the consolidation of the wine agro-industry in Mendoza. For it, we will attend to a particular case: the institutional history of Escuela Nacional de Vitivinicultura from her foundation, in 1896, until 1920. In relation with this, in this work, on the one hand, we will analyze the instrumentation of successive plans of study and his relation, or not, with the economic and productive context, as well as also, with the demands of the manufacturers. On the other hand, we will bear in mind the institutional origin of the first teachers of the establishment, in order to know if the initial trend was reverted of foreign agronomists contracted.
