Introduccion: En Odontología se utiliza una gran variedad de biomateriales. El odontólogo debe tener un conocimiento completo sobre la composición, el manejo y las indicaciones de estos materiales para un correcto diagnóstico, tratamiento y prevención de las enfermedades bucodentales. Un biomaterial dental está creado para estar en contacto con tejidos vivos durante un período de tiempo, con la finalidad de completar el tejido y ayudar a mejorar su funcionamiento sin afectar al resto de organismo. Objetivos: explicar TheraCal LC biomaterial que puede utilizarse en protección directas.
Introduction: A wide variety of biomaterials are used in Dentistry. The dentist must have complete knowledge about the composition, handling and indications of these materials for a correct diagnosis, treatment and prevention of oral diseases. A dental biomaterial is created to be in contact with living tissues for a period of time, in order to complete the tissue and help improve its functioning without affecting the rest of the organism. Objectives: explain TheraCal LC biomaterial that can be used in direct protection.
