El artículo presenta un breve comentario y análisis de la Carta Apostólica In Unitate Fidei del Papa León XIV, ofrecida a la Iglesia el día 23 de noviembre de 2025, con motivo de la celebración de los 1700 años del Concilio de Nicea. En ella se abordan tres grandes intuiciones y propuestas del Santo Padre para vivir la fe profesada en el Credo en el mundo de hoy: la centralidad de Jesucristo, verdadero Dios y hombre en la vida del creyente, la dimensión ecuménica de esta profesión de fe eclesial y la valiosa contribución que esta profesión de fe brinda a la tan ansiada búsqueda de la paz.
The article presents a brief commentary and analysis of the Apostolic Letter In unitate fidei by Pope Leo XIV, offered to the Church on November 23, 2025, on the occasion of the celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea. It highlights three major insights and proposals of the Holy Father for living the faith professed in the Creed in today’s world: the centrality of Jesus Christ, true God and true man, in the life of the believer; the ecumenical dimension of this ecclesial profession of faith; and the valuable contribution that this profession of faith makes to the much-desired pursuit of peace.
