La Argentina del Centenario en <i>Mundial Magazine</i> de Rubén Darío

En la revista ilustrada Mundial Magazine, dirigida por Rubén Darío se publican varios textos sobre las Repúblicas Hispanoamericanas. Cuando se conmemora el 9 de julio de 1911, con el espíritu del Centenario, el poeta publica la crónica "República Argentina" con diecisiete fotografías. En este trabajo analizamos la relación entre el texto y las fotos de la clase dirigente argentina de aquellos años.
A variety of texts about Latin American Republics are published in the illustrated Mundial Magazine, directed by Rubén Darío. During the commemoration of the 9th of July 1911, in the spirit of the centenary, the poet publishes the chronicle "República Argentina" with seventeen photographies. In this piece of work the relationship between text and photos concerning the ruling class of Argentina of those years will be analized.
