La posición filética de Telmatobiinae, su discusión reciente y significado critico de algunos inmunotests

Taxinomic relationship of Telmatobiinae, as it was recently arranged by Lynch (1969), is controlled by means of serological tests. Close relations between Telmatobufo and Telmatobius are pointed out. On the contrary Calyptocephalella lies at a remarkable distance from the true Telmatobiini stock, and its independent tribal position can be easily supported. Taxinomic separation of Odontophrynus from Ceratophrydids is again stressed, but its position in a general Telmatobiid branch must be pointed out.
